Why am I not allowed to type in caps?

 

When you type in caps  /  CAPITALS it is considered by many as shouting.

 

WHILE YOU'RE READING THIS, WHAT DOES CONSTANT USE OF CAPS LOOK? I hope you understand what I mean.

 

 

As a result, most channels forbid the use of caps and will kick you out if you insist on breaking this rule. If you don't like it, the best you can do is move to a channel that doesn't mind. Good luck finding one :-).

 

Also a busy channel with  lets say 50 users  - if everyone was allowed to type in caps it would be impossible to follow conversation

 

Therefore in #Blackforest   NO caps  are allowed  - neither speaking in Caps

 

Nicks  can be   BamB0o    -  Bamboo  -  BaMb0o

 

but not BAMBOO
